This trial has not only demonstrated a fully native 5G voice experience but also ensured uninterrupted high-quality service and connectivity. Following on from its earlier achievements including a lab-based VoNR proof of concept in 2023, Dialog continues to innovate and expand its capabilities in the 5G sphere. The live 5G Standalone (SA) core network used in this trial exemplifies how VoNR can deliver clearer voice quality, faster connection times, and improved security over traditional 2G, 3G, and VoLTE services.
Moreover, this development sets the stage for future 5G services such as New Calling (5G NC) and optimizes network efficiency by leveraging the full potential of the 5G spectrum.
