Cybernet, the leading fiber broadband provider in Pakistan, has officially partnered with Nokia to deploy a state-of-the-art optical transport solution for its new long-haul Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) network. This pioneering initiative aims to significantly enhance connectivity across the nation.
The newly established network is designed to deliver an impressive 1.2 terabits per second (Tbps) per wavelength and will initially connect over 25 cities, boasting a total capacity of more than 50 Tbps. The network will cater to a variety of needs, including data center interconnects, enterprise services, carrier networks, and Cybernet’s own StormFiber consumer broadband service.
