
Suntory, the esteemed beverage company, has shared news of an exciting addition to their Maximus sports drink collection. They have announced the limited-edition release of Pineapple Punch. The brand is known for its bold and distinctive flavors, and this new variant is set to continue that trend.
The introduction of Pineapple Punch expands the existing Maximus line-up, which currently includes Blue, Grape, Mango Passionfruit, and Lemonade Iceblock. The new flavor will be sold in Suntory’s signature one-litre PET bottle, ensuring consistency with the rest of the product line.
Lisa Pearce, the Head of Marketing at Suntory Beverage & Food Oceania, expressed her excitement about the new release. “Pineapple Punch delivers on what Maximus does best: Big, bold Aussie flavours”, she said.
Pearce also highlighted the strategic aspect of this launch, stating that the limited-time release is designed to both delight loyal fans and entice new customers. Additionally, she noted that the launch presents a valuable opportunity for their retail partners. The aim is to create a high-impact sales strategy and increase foot traffic during the important summer period.
Initially, Maximus Pineapple Punch will be available exclusively in Ampol stores, starting this month, at a recommended retail price of $6.28. From November, the product will roll out nationally, remaining in stores until March of the following year.
