Connoisseur, a well-known ice cream manufacturer, has debuted its new line of Italian-influenced gelato. The range currently includes two flavours: Pistachio and Almond Biscotti, offered in different formats.
The Pistachio gelato is available in a one-litre tub. In contrast, the Almond Biscotti gelato, fashioned into stick form, is retailed in packs of four. Both these flavours can be found in a variety of retailers, including Coles and Woolworths, and are priced from $12.
Vanessa Mason, brand manager of Connoisseur, explained that the new offerings were designed with a bold, innovative approach and an eye towards the latest in flavour trends. The Pistachio and Almond Biscotti creations are a nod to the concept of La Dolce Vita, appreciating life’s simple pleasures and the joy in taking things slowly.
The Pistachio flavour’s release was inspired by the recent surge in popularity of pistachio-themed content on social media. The Almond Biscotti gelato stick, on the other hand, was influenced by the traditional Italian dessert.
These new introductions come on the heels of Connoisseur’s successful launch of Honeycomb and Salted Caramel ice cream last year.
