Global Market Shifts Trigger Gasoline Price Plunge in Vietnam: A Dive into the Lower Fuel Costs

In response to global trends, Vietnam witnessed a reduction in gasoline prices on Thursday afternoon. The well-known fuel RON95 observed a decrease of 1.86% from the previous week, resulting in a new price of VND20,080 (US$0.76) per liter.

Biofuel and Diesel Prices

There was also a decrease in the price of Biofuel E5 RON92, which dropped by 1.06%, settling at VND19,610. Diesel experienced a similar reduction, with prices falling by1.25% to a new low of VND18,150. This is the lowest price recorded since October 23.

The global petroleum market has been notably influenced in the past week by several international events. These include the peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine and the decision by the U.S. Federal Reserve to lower interest rates, as reported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
